The amount of new state-subsidized housing loans stood at Ft31.9bn ($167.4m) by the end of the first half of the year, Gazdasgi Rdi reported, quoting the Housing Loan Monitor survey by market research institute DEM. The figure is a third of the peak level back in 2004, and down on the H1 2006 of Ft38.3bn ($201m).
